How to Wire Wrap a Pendant
Snip a section of twenty-two gauge wire about twenty-two inches long. Straighten the wire by running fingers along the wire.
Slide the bead onto the wire. Use the needle-nose pliers to push the wire through if necessary. There should be about two inches of wire through the bead. This will be the top of the section where you will make the eye loop.
Wrap the rest of the wire (from the bottom of the bead) around the bead in a random pattern. Once desired look is achieved, twist wire around the top wire right above the bead. Use the needle-nose pliers if necessary, and wrap 3 times.
Bend the top wire at a forty-five degree angle and trim to just over one fourth inches. With round-nose pliers, round the end to create an eye loop. Wrap the other end of the wire twice more around the newly created eye loop base. Use cutters to cut off the extra wire. Smooth loop edges with needle-nose pliers.
