The paints may be applied by brush or spray; the small spray attachment for vacuum cleaners is very convenient, especially for painting radiators.
So lets start with Warm and Cool. When thinking about Warm, think about a desert panorama of gold, brown and earth tones. When thinking about Cool think of colors in the artic such as gray, black, white or think of the deep blue sea such as deep blues, blue greens and turquoise. Everyone can wear just about any color, the difference is in the shade of the color. When thinking of clothing, makeup or accessories, visualize Cool as a color with a drop of silvery-blue. Visualize Warm as a color with a drop of gold. For example, if you put a drop of gold to a red sweater it becomes a Warm red, but if you put a drop of silvery blue it becomes a Cool red.
Congratulations! You now have everything to determine your Season. If you are Warm and Light you are a Spring. If you are Warm and Deep you are an Autumn. If you are Cool and Light you are a Summer. If you are Cool and Deep you are a Winter. Congratulations, You are One of Four Seasons.
Spend some time talking to the shop manager. He should have the time to thoroughly go over your options and explain their service and pricing. Be clear on what they're doing exactly. Will they scuff your existing paint? Will they be spraying primer? Are they OK painting any loose parts like bumper-ettes? If you're changing colors be sure to discuss the door jambs, trunk area and underside of the hood. Also, get instructions from the shop in writing for proper care of your fresh paint. It will include the number of paint curing days before you can wash it, wax it or let it sit out in the weather.
Reasons to Use Primer with Paint. Primer plays 2 important roles in painting projects. Firstly, if you are painting a wall that has never been painted (with water-based paint) before, primer will allow your new paint to stick (or "mechanically bond") to the surface. Since primer is typically not necessary if the wall has previously been painted, many people skip this step. Unfortunately, doing so negates its 2nd (often, more valuable) role in color coverage.
Vinyl is a cousin to the tough plastic used for upholstery and floor tiles, but it comes thinned with water ready for you to brush, roll or spray on. The label on the can may say vinyl, vinyl emulsion, polyvinyl acetate or PVA.
Use the painting project as an excuse to give your home a thorough spring cleaning and get rid of any clutter.
In the first segment, Tales from the Crisper, Junior Asparagus is watching a Frankencelery movie before being told by his mother that he needs to go to bed and says the movie is too scary for him. Junior denies this as he goes upstairs, but when he imagines his family portrait is full of monsters, he runs to his room scared. Bob and Larry drop in and comfort Junior in song about how he does not need to be afraid because God is watching out for him and He is bigger than anything. Junior is then confronted by Frankencelery who reveals that he is really just an actor named Phil Winkelstein from Toledo, Ohio, United States. Junior is then convinced and sings that “God is bigger” and after Bob, Larry, and Phil leave, Junior’s dad comes to tuck Junior in. The pair then discuss how God takes care of them, that Junior needs to be more careful about what he watches in the future, and it’s okay to tell his parents if he’s scared. This segment was written and directed by Phil Vischer. Vischer also serves as the animator of this segment, along with Robert Ellis and Chris Olsen.
